Vincent Curmi - Founding Partner

Vincent Curmi was the founding partner of VCA and the visionary behind its establishment. Through his integrity, professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence, he built a firm founded on trust, technical expertise and lasting client relationships. His values remain at the heart of VCA and continue to guide us today.

A Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and Certified Public Accountant, Vincent enjoyed a distinguished career spanning more than five decades. He played an important role in the development of the accountancy profession in Malta and was a respected figure within the business community, serving for 37 years on the Board of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, including twelve years as Vice-Chairman, as well as Vice-Chairman and Director of Trident Estates plc.

Beyond his professional achievements, Vincent was an accomplished sportsman and one of Malta's leading racket sport athletes. A multiple-time Malta Badminton Champion and member of the Malta Tennis Hall of Fame, he inspired a lifelong passion for tennis that became a family legacy. His daughter, Carol Curmi, and granddaughter, Francesca Curmi, both went on to represent Malta with distinction, continuing the family's remarkable contribution to Maltese tennis.

Vincent passed away in December 2023, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, integrity and service. He is remembered not only for the firm he founded, but also for the people he mentored, the profession he helped shape and the values he instilled, which continue to inspire us every day.
